Hello ladies!

Hope you are all well and living your life to the full, positioned closely to your heavenly Father and open hearted to His love and grace. Isn’t it such a privilege to know Jesus and have that assurance that He knows us completely?

There is a heavenly chronicle divinely written by none other than Creator God, maker of heaven and earth Himself, a descriptive and creative blueprint all about a very special and unique person: YOU! Not just that, but there is a truly incredible master plan of how to reach you, save you, and rescue you from certain death and there is an ultimate divine exchange that will take place with eternity placed in your heart, with hope and peace rising up from the ashes to reign with a renewed purpose revealed .

A true love romance has begun!! WOW!! And just think you are the main character in your very own romantic true-to- life love story!!!

It’s incredible to me that we have a God who passionately chases after us for those moments of intimacy. Let’s allow ourselves to be caught a little more often, ladies!!
SHINE NEWS

Getting onto the more practical side of things, we have been running Shine for five years this year and it has been an incredible journey so far, with many ladies from near and far coming in for much needed encouragement and pampering. We have had lots of encouraging cards and emails from women from New Hope and from other churches that have been inspired or touched in some way through Shine, and I am very grateful to God for that.

I have felt for a little while now God stirring me to change some aspects of Shine and I am very excited at what the future holds for this ministry. At the Shine Conference ‘09, Cathy Clarke talked about streamlining what we do, so that everything can be done well with clear core values at the centre. I truly believe that I need to seek God on this aspect and look at changing and streamlining where He wants us to streamline so that His core values are at the centre of all that we do.

So to facilitate this, I am going to take some time and space to look at developing the women’s ministry and restructuring it into a fresh and new format. This will mean the next three Shine Breakfasts will be postponed, and we will look at re-launching in October with a special event: A Morning with Carla Payne! So watch this space for details on this. In the interim, New Hope is hosting A Morning with Fiona Castle and details of this are on our website or on the church resource/information table.

I am also really looking forward to developing W.O.W. over the coming months and we are specifically looking at starting the Shine Girl/Shine Women courses (developing great self esteem and self worth) this year. We continue to have requests for the special W.O.W. gifts to be distributed to ladies in the community, which is a great honour to do.

I am really looking forward to a fresh chapter in our journey together and am continually blown away at the privilege it is to work alongside God in helping to facilitate an incredible environment for God to minister to His girls.
