KidzChurch
is a fun place to be at New Hope Community Church!
The heart and the vision of KidzChurch is to enable the younger members of the congregation to have fun while learning and applying the Word of God to their lives. Above all, we want to see them enter into a dynamic relationship with their loving Father God and their Friend, Jesus Christ.

One of the ways we achieve this is by really getting into the spirit of great praise and worship, which is led by our young people. This is one of the most popular activities. The Word of God is taught in many different ways, creating variety and fun within a learning environment, giving the children an opportunity to gain understanding of biblical truths and teaching them how they can apply it to their lives.

KidzChurch, incorporating Frantic and Little Treasures, is a great place for the children and young people to gain an understanding of this amazing God we serve, to learn to express their love for God, and to learn to love His Word and His church. It is a launching pad for them to seek and experience the Father in all His fullness, to take hold of all the plans and purposes He has for them and to watch His plans unfold before their very eyes as they go through life knowing the continued love and acceptance of the Lord Jesus Christ.

  • Little Treasures (pre-school to reception) learn Bible stories with a related art and craft session, followed by play.
  • Frantic (Ages 5 to 12) are taught how to apply the Word to their lives using multimedia, art, drama and interactive group chats which is then followed by group prayer, fun and games.
  • R.I.O.T. (school years 7 and 8) is bursting at the seams with interesting information and fabulous fun.

FRANTIC and LITTLE TREASURES are held at Applemore College during the 10.30am morning service at Applemore, and will be part of the main service until 11.00am, when they leave the adults and go to their respective facilities. The venue for Frantic gives the children great scope for new ways to express themselves! There is usually a fun theme, and the praise is louder and the games a lot messier! It’s a great opportunity for the children and young people to bring their friends and show them that church is really enjoyable.

R.I.O.T. (Righteous Invasion Of Truth)
R.I.O.T. is for school years 7 and 8 and is bursting at the seams with interesting information and fabulous fun. How does the Bible impact our lives? How can we impact our world? How does snakes and ladders describe our lives? For answers to these questions and more come along on a Sunday and join the Invasion! R.I.O.T. meets regularly at Applemore College on Sunday mornings in the reception area just after praise and worship.

New Hope Community Church takes the safety of children and young people very seriously. In order to protect children and young people taking part in our KidzChurch sessions, we have a Child Protection Policy in place, which we rigorously enforce. Everyone working with children or young people is required to have a CRB Disclosure (Police check), and is expected to attend child protection training sessions. Children at New Hope are always signed in and out of KidzChurch sessions and are cared for by experienced and CRB checked staff.
