New Hope Community Church has been in existence since the 1930's and has had a few name changes since then - please have a look at our history page to get an idea of who we are and how we started.

New Hope has grown tremendously over the last few years and we now have three congregations with a fourth launching soon. On Sunday mornings we have our vibrant morning service at New Hope Centre on the Waterside and our Kidz Church "Frantic" meet at the Waterside Sports & Social Club just over the road. In the evenings we have our evening service with twice monthly New Hope Nights, our after service coffee & entertainment.

The name New Hope reflects our desire to bring the good news of the Gospel and the hope that we have in Jesus Christ to our local community, world wide missions, and to the relationships that we build within the community through our weekly activities. Below is an outline of what God has given to Pastor Tim Lockwood and the leaders as to the direction and vision into which He is calling.

We have many activities running throughout the week to cater for all ages and offer a very warm welcome to you and your family at any of our services and activities.
