KidzChurch
is a fun place
to be at New Hope Community Church! The heart and the vision of
KidzChurch is to enable the younger members of the congregation
to have fun while learning and applying the Word of God to their
lives. Above all, we want to see them enter into a dynamic relationship
with their loving Father God and their Friend, Jesus Christ.
One
of the ways we achieve this is by really getting into the spirit
of great praise and worship, which is led by our young people.
This is one of the most popular activities. The
Word of God is taught in many different ways, creating variety and
fun within a learning environment, giving the children an opportunity
to gain understanding of biblical truths and teaching them how they
can apply it to their lives.
Every Sunday (apart from 3rd sunday) is "FRANTIC",
which is held at the Waterside Sports and Social Club while the adult members of the congregation meet at New Hope Centre.
The venue for Frantic is utilised which gives the children
great scope for new ways to express themselves! There is usually
a fun theme, and the praise is louder and the games a lot messier!
It’s a great opportunity for the children and young people
to bring their friends and show them that church is really enjoyable. The 3rd Sunday in the month is our usual Family Service which is held at New Hope Centre.
- Little
Treasures (pre-school to reception)
go off to the PortaCabin at the side of New Hope Centre to learn Bible stories
with a related art and craft session, followed by play.
- Frantic (Ages 5 to 12 ) are taught how to apply the
Word to their lives using multimedia, art, drama and interactive
group chats which is then followed by group prayer, fun and games.
KidzChurch, incorporating "Frantic" and "Little Treasures" is a great place for the children and young people to gain
an understanding of this amazing God we serve, to learn to express
their love for God, and to learn to love His Word and His church.
It is a launching pad for them to seek and experience the Father
in all His fullness, to take hold of all the plans and purposes
He has for them and to watch His plans unfold before their very
eyes as they go through life knowing the continued love and acceptance
of the Lord Jesus Christ.
New
Hope Community Church takes the safety of children and young people
very seriously. In order to protect children or young people taking
part in our KidzChurch and "Frantic" sessions, we have
a Child Protection Policy in place, which we rigorously enforce.
Anyone working with children or young people is required to have
a CRB Disclosure (Police check), and is expected to attend child
protection training sessions. Children at New Hope are always signed
in and out of KidzChurch sessions and are cared for by experienced
and CRB checked staff. |
